Santa Ana Stabbing

On May 7, a Wednesday afternoon, a small fight between a group of boys after Santa Ana’s school bell rang escalated into a larger clash between the two parties. The 14-year-old victim was not yet identified as he’s a minor, but the 15-year-old responsible for the fight is facing two court cases for assault with a deadly weapon.

According to the authorities, the 15-year-old and his 17-year-old brother turned themselves in to the police hours later after the incident in front of Santa Ana High School.

Shortly after the fight, a total of three students, 14, 15, and 16, were found stabbed with knife wounds around their bodies and immediately taken to the hospital by the paramedics. As a result, the 14-year-old boy died from fatal injuries and rapid loss of blood, leaving his family to start a GoFundMe for his funeral expenses.

Friends and other classmates left comments on the site stating that it was peculiar for him to be involved in a fight, and he was a kind boy who always made others smile. Armando, later revealed to be the 14-year-old’s name, was supported by his cousin at the station, revealing that he saw his friends in the fight and decided to help them out.

The police revealed that all members of the fight, besides Armando, were involved in gang violence and other similar activities. Reasons as to why the brothers revealed themselves remain hidden, but authorities continue to search to justify the young boy’s death.
